Después de la decepción con la suspensión temporal del concierto de Tina Turner, nos conformamos con visitar Londrés y disfrutar de esa fantástica capital.
Ya desde casa, y con más calma, os envío unas fotos que tomé con el iphone.
Paseamos por las calles, hicimos algunas compras, y realizamos visitas interesantes. A destacar el vuelo, como ellos lo llaman, por el London Eye, esa grandiosa noria construida al lado del río Thamesis. Si padeces de vértigo, piénsatelo dos veces antes de subir.
También la exposición de Picasso, que presenta la National Gallery llamada Picasso Challenging the Past fue muy interesante, así como un musical que os recomiendo encarecidamente llamado la Clique. Hacía mucho tiempo que no me reía tanto con un musical. De verdad que merece la pena.

Tina Turner suspende su concierto

Esta es la nota de prensa de su club de fans. La copio más abajo.
Así que ya que no vamos a poder ir al concierto de Tina, aprovecharemos la visita para hacer turismo y realizar algunas compras. Ahora la libra tiene un valor menor frente al Euro, y por tanto comprar en Londres, al igual que anteriormente ha sucedido en NY, merece la pena.

Tina Turner has rescheduled shows in London and Sheffield (The London O2 Arena date will now be on Sunday, May 3, and the Sheffield Arena concert is now on Tuesday, May 5.) because she is suffering from respiratory flu.
Doctors have advised the 69-year-old, performing in the UK for the first time since 2000, to rest for six days.
She had been due at the capital's O2 arena on Wednesday and the following night at the Sheffield Arena, but now both shows will take place in May.
A statement issued on behalf of Turner said she "regrets" the decision and the "inconvenience" to all her fans.
"Tina always wants to give one hundred percent and has been overwhelmed by the reaction from her UK fans at the gigs last week.
"She regrets this decision to postpone and the inconvenience to all those fans with tickets, but wants to make sure each concert she does is memorable for everyone"
Fans have been advised to keep their tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are available for those who are unable to attend the new dates.
